Bac Ha, a white highland. Visiting Bac Ha Highland in Lao Cai province on early spring days, tourists will be treated with landscape here. Those who come to this white highland must visit Bac Ha market, This is one of the most famous markets in Vietnam as its still reserves its origin and characteristics of ethnic people in mountainous areas. Every Sunday, different ethnic groups come to the market to sell their homemade products or buy something for the family (corn wine, livestock, tobacco….). They are Hmong, Phu La, Back Dzao, Tay or Nung minorities. Some of these ethnic minorities can’t meet in any other areas. It’s but only the place for exchange goods but also the place for across cultures between ethnic groups.
