Pu Luong village trek

Day 01: Hanoi – Pu Luong (Hang village)

Depart Hanoi for Pu Luong Nature Reserve. This scenic drive takes around four hours. Along the way we pass fields of tapioca and sugar cane as well as rice paddies. Following lunch in Ban Sai village we drive further into the reserve where we begin our trek. We trek for approximately three hours before arriving at the Thai villafge of Hang. We spend the night with a local Thai family who will be our hosts in a traditional house built on stilts.

Day 02: Pu Luong (Hang village – Sai village)

This morning we have the opportunity to stroll around Hang village before we start trekking. We will be walking for a approximately five hours. Along the way we pass through several Thai villages and hamlets before arriving at the village of Sai, another Thai commune. Here we will spend our second night in a typical Thai stilt house.

Day 03: Pu Luong – Hanoi

This morning we have the opportunity to stroll around Sai village before we return to Hanoi. On the way back we will stop at a Muong village, before continuing onto Hoa Binh town for lunch. End tour.
